Hi, I just upgraded my DNN install to *.0.0 (on a test server) and upgraded the Links Module to version 6.2.1..

But it broke my dropdown (vertical) lists! The width setting is lost (fixable with CSS), the permissions for each item in the list need to be reset (it appears the at the permissions setting doesnt work so I have to set the permission manually for each item.)

Most importantly, even when I make these fixes, the list itself doesn't link to the items. There is a "Go" link to the right of the list which one needs to click to go to the link. Is this how it's supposed to function? Or is there a way to restore the previous functionality (which worked great)?

If not, I might have to just go back to the old version. Anyone have any insight into this issue?

Hi again...

Well, as I'm looking into this I see that my older version of the links module includes an AutoPostBack="true" attribule inside the <asp:DropDownList > tag, which is not present in the new version. So that (at least partially) explains why that version selects the link when the dropdown is changed (as opposed to having to use a "go" link next to the dropdown .

So i added i the AuroPostBack attribute to the new version of the Links module, and it does do a post back ( see the javascript function below) . But it still doesn't find the URL in the dropdown link. It just reloads the same page. Anybady know how to make this work properly?

I just want the dropdowns to work like the three examples on the right side of this page:

<script type="text/javascript">
var theForm = document.forms['Form'];
if (!theForm) {
    theForm = document.Form;
function __doPostBack(eventTarget, eventArgument) {
    if (!theForm.onsubmit || (theForm.onsubmit() != false)) {
        theForm.__EVENTTARGET.value = eventTarget;
        theForm.__EVENTARGUMENT.value = eventArgument;
