Hi all,
This is a bit odd. I have the latest version of DNN installed with a single portal. When I switch my host account to edit mode (well, was able to, and it's just stayed in edit mode), I can switch from edit to view to layout just fine (Using Oliver's Advanced Control Panel suite). However, when I log in as admin (my normal, author/moderator account), and I attempt to swap the mode from the default view to edit, I get"loading, please wait" for ever and ever and ever. Went into the event viewer and all I found was the successful login of my regular admin account under the entries for today aside from a bunch of 404 error entries from third-party applications looking for nonexistent URLs. Recommendations? Especially if there is a performance issue somewhere? Doesn't look like it, though, for others report normal site speeds. I could try to delete and re-create the user, I suppose. I can't register and login in the normal way yet because I've not found suitable smtp settings. Suggestions and solutions would be great; I don't much care for vague error messages where there is no available information about them.
