I'm having the same issue with 07.00.05. Tried changing to Classic on the app pool then started getting an authorization error. Is there a different user that needs access to the folder for classic? I can't remember.

You'll want to run DNN with IIS in integrated mode.

There are lots of online resources for learning more about the differences between classic and integrated mode.

If the error doesn't go away after you make the changes to IIS then it would require some more diagnosing.

Any recommendations on how to further diagnose?
