Please help.

I am running 7.2

When I go to Languages in Admin menu, enter the language editor by using the pen in "static resources" for Host or Portal level, I get the following error.

------------------
Error: is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Languages.LanguageEditor. (EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---
------------------

Following was already tried:

in-place upgrade to place a fresh code
replacing the files in Admin/Languages with a clean copy
reset the handlers within IIS, as well as clearing the ASP.Net temporary files

Any help please! thank you in advance.

the error message is unfortunately not specific. I suggest upgrading to DNN 7.4.2
