Hi All,

Anyone know how to turn file versioning off/on in the File Manager?  When creating hyperlinks to files and images, the system now hardcodes the link using a version number.  For example:

/Portals/0/Docs/myfile.pdf?ver=2016-04-29-080618-130

This file is frequently overwritten in the file manager, but because of the versioning, we still have to correct the link anywhere it appears on the site.  Can anyone tell me how to turn this function off?  I haven't come across this before and can't seem to find a setting for it.

Thanks!
Kelly

The client creates links via the hyperlink manager, but they are not always tech savvy so describing which part of the hyperlink to remove is not an ideal solution.  I was hoping to be able to turn off whatever is causing the versioning so the client does not have to worry about it.
