I have a weird scenario where I search for a user I know is in the database and it does not show up whether it be by last name or email. I feel like my database might be really dirty as I had a period where I got bombarded with spam registrations and was initially not removing them by the proper means. Is there a way to re-sync everything? So all the tables have appropriate references and anything that is not supposed to be there can be eliminated?

Thanks,

John

If you look for a user in the Database, can you find them in the Users table? If so, the next thing to do is look at

1) Are they marked as Deleted
2) Are they in the UserPortals table?

there is no real sync necessary, however, the user might no longer be listed in userportals table, i.e. no longer be associated with any website.

Thanks for the help gentlemen. This turned out to be user error (me). The user I was looking for was an admin and they do not show up in the general user list.

Admins usually DO show up in users list, unless they are Superusers (like "host") with access to all sites of a DNN installation.
