Hi there,

I've read about lots of troubles people are having with the VS 2015 templates, and I remember when I first leapt into DNN development that was a big problem, and regularly blew up DNN installations trying vainly to get things working. I got myself up and running by taking a simple DNN7 project I got to work (WebAPI based primarily, using HTML5/js put into pages to make REST calls), and then copying that to new projects.

Can I just keep doing what I am doing to get modules into DNN8? I am developing for in house, not as a commercial module developer.

Yes.  We did not change anything regarding Web Forms based modules in DNN 8.  You do not have to use the templates provided for DNN 8.

Yes, Web Forms module will still work with DNN 8.
