I have the Filter statement set to Category LIKE '%[Querystring:category]%'.  That works great.  But how can I show at the top of the list the Filter by value?   That way they know how the list is filtered.

Scott,

have a look at the possibilities you get by using XSLT instead of the standard table settings. You can do nearly everything with that, and this specific requirement should be easy to do.

Happy DNNing!

Michael,

Thanks for the reply.  I'm actually using an XSL template.   I dumped the raw XML and I couldn't find the Query String in the XML.  I saw the Data, Fields and Context sections but nothing showing the Query String.   I even tried searching on Google for some type of HTTP Host variable that I could reference in the XSL.

I'm about to give up and try using Razor to render the data the way I need it but I'd rather stick with what I got.  Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Scott

I don't think you can get to the querystring parameter from XSLT (you could create a feature request ;-)
But you could inject it using Javascript (read form URL, inkject in an element).

Parameter Support

The new XSLT Generator engine integrates the ModuleID as part of the parameter name. Each querystring or form parameter should start with udt_{moduleId}_param.
