DNN version 7.4.2

I have set users to be required to enter in standard mailing location information, but the drop down for Region never populates and shows "not specified". I have specified the site to be United States and have not modified the states list. Would anyone happen to know why this is happening?

DNN 7.4 requires to use the new country text suggest control, which loads the country code in the background. Providing the country name as default value doesn't match.

Hi Sebastian,

This is not turned on by default? The user sign up is apart of the base install of DNN. How do I go about implementing this so the proper list of states shows up?

if it is a new install, it should use text suggest - you may test by typing a country name.
To provide a default value, you it requires default value to be set to "US", not "United States"

Hi,

This is a new install.

The image is the sign up form after a new user logs in. I tried typing in a state name and nothing tried to come up and the not specified never goes away.

I checked the language setting and it is set to this:

I have not altered any location settings from installing so I do not understand why this issue is coming up. What and where should I check to make sure it is set for US?
