We have a very old version of DNN. The issue we have is when a user goes to post a new file to their site, they are presented with several folders via the drop down of where they can drop their file. One of the folders is ROOT. How do I prevent someone from writing a file to this folder? I have looked at the ownership of the file, and it is NETWORK SERVICE. All I need to do is prevent anyone from writing something in this folder and that will force them to choose the correct folder to drop their file in.

Thanks for any help.

I admin > File Manager, you may specify write permission for the folder.
If this doesn't get applied properly, you might need to update your DNN version.
