Good Morning/Afternoon DNN experts,

We have start playing around with DNN laguaje resx files and controls like dnn:label, and it come to our minds some questions.

Is there any "Best practices guide" for using the resx files?
We have observed that labels to be trasnlated are usually like lblSetting1 / lblSetting2
In our example, some of the values to be translated come form DB, i.e. user type (Begineer / Advaced) is stored in DB, and need to be translated in the web.
Is "better" to store directly english words (beginner / advance) or some short of self made labels (lbl_usetyp_begi / lbl_usetyp_adva)

Other thing, we have observed, when the call for the resx file is not resolved, it load an empty string, whould not be better the default behiviour to show the original string than a empty one ?
(back to the prevoius example, better to show "lbl_usetyp_begi" for "Beginner", than "")

And lastly, acording to general ASP documentation
To create a culturally neutral French language file
In Solution Explorer, right-click the Sample.aspx.resx file, and then click Copy.
Right-click the App_LocalResourcesfolder, and then click Paste.
Visual Web Developer creates a file named Copy of Sample.aspx.resx.
Right-click the Copy of Sample.aspx.resx file, click Rename, and then type Sample.aspx.fr.resx.

but this seem not to be the general behiviour on dnn, as it does not use the "fr.resx" file, only the "fr-FR.resx" file
How to enable that dnn use "fr.resx" files also ?

thanks in advance for all great help !!
