Hi,

I've implemented mobile friendly skins/css on our website, which is working great, however, in older browsers (IE8 etc) which don't support media queries, it breaks the site (shows mobile menus & elements when it shouldn't).

I'm looking for a way to code the site so it ignores the mobile friendly features when client is using IE8 or other old browsers. I figure this could be done in the skins (by calling different stylesheets when old browers is used) or in the css file itself.

Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

Thanks

Tom

Your mileage may vary. For me IE8 is under 1% of my site traffic. I decided that it's not worth making any investment to support those users.

I know that they will think that the site is rubbish and they'll never blame their own crappy browser. You could try this kind of approach... https://www.kogan.com/au/blog/new-int...
