I have a client using a custom legacy application in a DNN 4.9.1 installation. They require additional HDD space, which I can provide if the ability to map another server drive to their instance is possible.  Does anyone have experience with this? If so, please share what you did to map another server drive (internal).

Thank you!

4.9.1 is pretty old. But, newer versions of DNN have storage providers. We've used DNNGlobalStorage and been very happy with it. Using that, we mapped folders to Amazon S3, which is unlimited and very cheap.

I would check first, why they need additional storage, maybe there is some cleanup missing for this prehistoric installation.
