I've been looking for the answer and i found some threads about it but it not solved to me.

I have a main content and i want to subdivide it in anothers, but i I only get the main contentPane. I want that every pane has his own properties in css.

<div id="ContentPane" runat="server" class="ContentPane">

        <div id="visualContent"  runat="server" class="visualContent">

                       <div id="upContent" runat="server" class="upContent"></div>

                           <div id="downContent" runat="server" class="downContent"> </div>

What things that i´m doing wrong? I think that maybe i have to change the class to "ContentPane" but in this case it applies the properties of the main ContentPane.

Thank you!

Try something like this:

#ContentPane .upContent
color: #ffffff;

Hi Eva,

DNN does not allow for nesting of panes and a pane is defined by adding runat="server" in a div with an ID. So, in essence, you are trying to have 4 content panes #ContentPane, #visualContent, #upContent, and #downContent. Remove the runat="server" from the #ContentPane and #visualContent divs and all should work well. You will be left with the 2 content panes of #upContent and #downContent. Also, note that you still need to have a content pane named as contentpane somewhere on the skin for DNN to render the page.

Hope that helps.
