Hello,

I switched to the advanced URL provider last night and, now, many links immediately load a blank page with the URL and then redirect to the target page over the next second or two. Is there something I need to do differently?

Thanks,

Mike

did you reset IIS? You may use network tab in IE dev tools or fiddler to get exact redirect displayed - maybe there is a redirect chain for old urls?

Hi Sebastian,

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond... I didn't have an easy way to reset IIS.

Anyway - I've got that done now and, unfortunately, no... it didn't fix it. We still get these odd redirects. It's as if DNN is returning a 301 page or something - it's a blank page with just a link and then it redirects there. It doesn't always happen... but it happens often enough.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mike

this sounds very strange. Have a look at taburls table, maybe there are unnecessary entries which cause the delay.
