Could you please advice how can I make my own search skinObject which will search only a specific custom made module ?

I don't want my modules's search results to come together  with other search results but instead i want to have my own search box .

 Is this possible ?

Thanks in advance

I would create a search module for this purpose.

Whether you choose to do a skin object or a module, the process will be the same - ensure your module implements modulesearchbase (, and then ensure that the query you pass to lucene filters for your module (or tab, or whatever filter you apply to the query - )
