I deleted a few files today in error.  It was done with an FTP program so there was no undeleting.

I restored from a series of backups (long story).  Bottom line I got the site up and running but when I try and log an as the super user  I get an error.  "DNN Error" "Return to Site" event log below.

I have Checked the SQL database HostSettings ControlPannel settings and it is sent to "Admin/ControlPanel/ControlBar.ascx"

Any other suggestions?

did you delete custom files or DNN files? in the latter case, you may unzip update package of the same version to complete the list of files.

To be honest I am not sure what got deleted.  I was in the root trying to delete some old renamed web.config files (there were a lot as I am trying to trouble shoot a infragistics issue), before I new it files were deleting before my very eyes at a very fast rate.  Not sure of what specific files went "poof".

maybe an update is a good idea.  Can you provide a link to the updates for 7.1.2, or are the easy to find?

OK Upgrade is done.  Files unzipped and FTPed up. Still having the same problem....

The site runs fine, I can log on as a User or as an Admin but not as the Super User.

I have gone into the SQL DB and changed the Admin to a Super User and then tried and log in with that username.... same error.....

The Company Logo appears along with "DNN Error" and a blue button that says "Return to Site"

I would think that it would have something to do with the control bar except the Admin account uses the Control Bar without issue.  It looks like an issue with the HostTab?

Error listed below from the event log.  Any other suggestions?
