I am using the custom mode for the DNN registration module. I need to use "email Address" field and "Confirm Email Adress" custom filed. So how can I compare the value and validate the custom fields with the "email Address" field?

Please advise me if you have a solution. I am using DNN 7.1.0

Thank You!

there is no mechanism to compare multiple values during validation, you would need a custom profile property with both input boxes and the appropriate code to compare the values (and return/store just one of it)

Hello Sebastian,

Thank you for your quick advise.
Yes. I have already created a custom profile property.
But I have no idea about how to compare the entered value with another profile property.

Please can you advise me?

Thank You!

You need a custom profile property type, which contains both text boxes and performs comparison (in code behind),
Sorry for not being clear enough before.

Hello Sebastian,

Any reference or example for this? Do we have to do anything in the code level change?

Thank You!
