When I try to login into my website, I get an error-message:
Er is een kritieke fout opgetreden. An unexpected error has occurred

Because my website is hosted by a hosting provider, I can't get any additional info. Can you guys here help me in the process of finding what's wrong?

can you provide a little more detail - maybe the domain name.  Ask you hosting provider to restart you application pool.

The website has now crashed, I get the following error message:

Server Error in '/' Application.

Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.ArgumentException: Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count.

Probably this is caused by me adding a second website to my hosting provider. Before this the website was working fine.
Any suggestions? I allready contacted the hosting provider, but haven't received a reaction yet.

The" parameter count does not equal parameter value count" error is usually an indication that the version of the DotNetNuke.dll assembly or some other assembly does not match the version of a database stored procedure. It most commonly occurs following a failed attempt to upgrade the DNN platform framework or a module.

Please answer the following:

What version of DNN was running on the site before the problem started?

Did you recently upgrade the DNN platform framework or a module. If so, to what version?

Did you create a backup of the site's files and database before attempting any upgrades?

Describe in detail how you added another site or DNN installation to the server?

Do you have access via FTP to the site's files?

Do you have remote access to the site's MS SQL database?

Have you tried restarting the site's application pool on the server? Usually this can be done from your hosting provider's control panel, if not then by re-saving the site's web.config file on the server.
