Hi everybody, this is probably a stupid question, but I am not great with programing and I went from using dnn 4.2 to a clean install (no upgrades) of DNN 07.02.00 (607). I made several custom profile properties for registration and they work for the registration but when anyone (Superuser, Admin, or user) goes to their profile page it shows non of them. Also when a user (not a Super user or an administrator) goes to edit their profile only half of the custom fields show up any advice would be welcomed and appreciated!

Check out profile property definition in Admin Site Settings, and check the property types being used. Some 3rd party types are no longer supported and you may need to switch to default types. Note: Search only supports profile properties of type "Text" or "HTML".

This may be a module question, but It seems like it fits this thread:

How do I get custom properties in the View Profile module Templates?

I have several custom properties, each under the same custom category, and I am able to edit these properties when I edit my user profile. I do not know how to get them to display in the profile template.

Ok, here is an answer to my own question:

In the view profile module I copied this line from the default template:

        <li data-bind="visible: Website().length > 0"><strong><span data-bind="text: WebsiteText">:</strong> <span data-bind="text: Website()"></li>

It seems for custom fields, there is no language definition for these fields, so you have to type the label manually. My custom (working) line is below. Just make sure you use the exact profile property name, it appears to be case sensitive.

        <li data-bind="visible: DelSolYear().length > 0"><strong>Del Sol Model Year:</strong> <span data-bind="text: DelSolYear()"></li>

I am having this problem as well. When I go to edit my user profile, I cannot seem to edit custom defined properties.

I am a super admin as well. Nothing seems to fix it.
