I have a dnn 7.1.2 install with 3 parent portals. On the latest portal I added, I browsed to the file manager from the admin menu, but there was no module on the page. I am logged on as a host user, and can use the host file manager just fine, but I need the admin file manager working for other users.

I am unable to see a module to add to the admin file manager page, in order to get it working. How do I fix this?

Also, the admin file manager works fine from other parent portals in the same installation of DNN. I checked the page with several different skins, including the default skin, but no luck.

Joshua;
We regularily test multi-portal behaviors and this is unexpected in 7.1.2
Are you seeing any errors messages in the UI? Any in log.resources file of the site?
Have you done any URL customization/redirection on this site in any portal?
You should be able to fix it by logging in as HOST user, browsing to the affected portal, hitting the page and then going to Add Module. At this point the File Manager module should be listed and you should be able to add it to the FileManager.aspx page

If you have any issues adding File Manager module to the page while logged in as Host please reply back you may have run into a bug.

I was able to get the file manager module back on the page, by adding the Digital Asset Management module wihile logged in as host. I never would have tried this module, except the icon was the same as the File manager link in the admin menu. Perhaps a rename is in order?

I still do not know why the module didn't show up in the first place.

I am using the ifinity module for two portals on the site.

This error is occurring alot in the event viewer:

That error looks to me like there's an issue with DNNGo skin on 7.1.2

You should contact the vendor

Glad you were able to successfully add the module.

The error looks to me like an issue with the database, while retrieving host settings. Either your database has performance issues (check size of transaction log and number of entries in Eventlog and ScheduleHistory), ot there is an issue in hostSettings for your portal.
