Dear DNN Users,
I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar hack done to their DNN 7 site before (see image below)?  My default.aspx in root folder also has text edits with porn links at bottom.  I have upgraded to latest version of DNN.  I have other websites in IIS without DNN installations and they do not seem to be affected - which leads me to believe this is a DNN hack similar to this tool (http://cybers-site.blogspot.ca/2011/0...) but as this appears to be an old issue I would have thought the latest DNN would have fixed this.  The files are created ~weekly even after deletion.  Any suggestions/tips on how to prevent this would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!

I doubt this is caused by DNN. What else do you have installed? Specifically provider type extensions like HTML editors...

also make sure, you are using a secure FTP password for your hosting site.

Thank you very much for your prompt responses.

With regards to extensions, I pretty much have the stock DNN 7 install - no added extensions (ie. third party stuff).

I am using FTP over SSL (FTPS) for uploads.

Will try to slowly troubleshoot this. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions.

most likely, the files have not been uploaded using DNN.
