Hello!

I hope this is just something silly that I'm missing somewhere...

Specs: DNN 7.0.5
OS: Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit

I recently upgraded me dev environment to DNN7. Now, when I debug and navigate to my module, I am receiving 500 Server errors on any JS and CSS files (including module.css)

In my view, I'm loading the JS using the scriptmanager as opposed to JSInclude

<asp:ScriptManagerProxy ID="ScriptManagerProxy1" runat="server">
    <Scripts>
        <asp:ScriptReference Path="~/desktopmodules/RRSCurbAdapterSelection/js/jquery.prettyLoader.js" />
        <asp:ScriptReference Path="~/desktopmodules/RRSCurbAdapterSelection/ca.js" />
    </Scripts>
</asp:ScriptManagerProxy>

Any attempt to load the JS or the Module.CSS into the browser results in the following error:

Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetNuke.HttpModules' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetNuke.HttpModules' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

I can't claim to have hit your exact problem.

I think I have had trouble trying to use the ScriptManagerProxy to load scripts. I'd advise you to use a different approach.

Best wishes,

While that may very well be true, it would not account for the same error when loading the default module.css file which is loaded by the framework and not by any of my code. So, even if I use a different approach to include my JS, I will still have to contend with the same problem related to module.css

So is the file (HttpModules) actually there?

Best wishes,
