Hi ,

As per my requirement i am creating Custom registration and Custom Login Page(as New Modules) Also. But  in DNN  password  is storing in aspnet_members table in Hash format.

Can any body help me to find out  how DNN is doing PasswordHash and Passwordsalt. And also while logining in a user what Database tables/column are updating.I would like  replicate same logic in my custom modules .

Thanks,

password generation is handled by Microsoft ASP.Net membership component, this just bundled with DNN. You might find some documentation on www.ASP.Net or MSDN.

Hi Sebastian Leupold,

I need to insert some Microsoft Word document in some webpages, but I can't find a module that allows it, but I want to make it visible in the page.
Ex. I have a document with some text  and I'd like that if I insert the doc in a module, How could I do to do that?
Thanks all!

if you want to display content of word documents, you need to convert it into a format, which may be rendered by the website and/or browser. This might be PDF for download or html for rendering in HTML or FormAndList module, maybe .mht format is more convenient (including all images css etc. in one file), but AFAIK only IE supports this format.
