As we continue to make updates within the ecosystem and store, we will work to make the blog section more prominent and visible for our users. Also, if you post a blog the DNN Store Twitter account ( @DNNStore ) just might help promote your content as well.

This is a great idea but I feel open source devs and open source consumers have been left behind. I think the extension Forge shouldn't have been shutdown. IF the store is updated and content is properly tagged and categorized so that one can find open source extension then I will agree with the idea of having a single place for paid/free/open source extensions. How does one go about discovering a new open source extension? One just has to hope the dev will blog about it and will hopefully remember the title of the blog to go back to it if needed. There's no category in the DNN store to view all open source extensions. searching for open source returns a bunch of freemium/trial/free and some open source here and there but I don't think the store was ever made for showcasing open source extensions. Once it is able to cater to the open source community the way the Forge did, it should only then be time to retire the Forge but not before there's a place where open source devs can showcase their work without being hidden under a series of pages of irrelevant search results and trial extensions.

Sergio,

Thanks for your comment... you are correct. We hope to open the store up to provide better visibility to OSS extension creators and developers in the future. You should check out the Partners Ecosystem Advisory Group as this is one of the topics being discussed there.
