A happy event: DNN Events 06.00.01 is released!

About a month ago, we released a serious DNN Events version update. A small number of issues were signalled by users of the new version. This version, 06.00.01, is a bug fix release that should resolve all outstanding issues and includes a small number of changes. We encourage you all to give this new version a test before updating your production environment. And be sure to make a backup before installing this new release. Better be safe than sorry! Events 06.00.01 can be downloaded from CodePlex.

Release notes DNN Events 06.00.01

  • Typo in EventSettings.ascx.resx corrected
  • Delete category should not allow delete of category used in module settings
  • Template Help link did not work correctly

  • AutoTooltipify default set to False in List View i.s.o. True
  • Moved styling of the header of the list view to the .css of the theme
  • Added a setting to make the calname optional to import it in Google calendars correctly. It can also be passed as a parameter on the URL.
  • Removed the default width of 620px, caused by default.css, from the form pattern in the basic Events view

Can you assist us?

Is there a volunteer #dotnetnuke developer around that can help us (the Events team) to implement Telerik RadScheduler in the DNN Events module? This is a serious improvement for the module, and we can use some assistance in this. Your reward: eternal fame in the DNN community and my offer for a free drink when we meet in person.
