OT: Happy Birthday to me ;-)...

After waiting patiently for months I finally got a pleasant little notification at around 10:00am this morning.  I recently discovered a nifty little program that promised to solve all of my problems.  This program was blogged about by Chris Sells and can be found at  Anyway, it seems that my local BestBuy stores got in a shipment of XBOX 360s.  Finally!  It seems my wife did not listen to me when I told her the local game stores were taking orders back in September and that if we hurried I could still get one for Christmas.  Well, by the time she went back to check in October the lists were all full and they didn't anticipate having any extras to sell until February or March.  Fortunately for me my birthday occurs in early February, so when my wife asked what I wanted, I was loud and clear:  XBOX 360!

So, not wanting a repeat of the Christmas fiasco, my wife acquiesced and I got my birthday present early.  Now all that is left is to figure out how to clone myself so I can get my work done while still finding time for my new XBOX.  I wonder if she will let me hook it up to the 52" widescreen or if I will be relegated to my Dell UltraSharp 2405FPW monitor.  It is widescreen, but I don't know for sure if it will handle the HDTV output of the XBOX 360 or if I will be forced to drop down to composite video.  The nice thing about the monitor is that is supports PIP so I could play Quake 4 and work on DotNetNuke at the same time.  Of course I'm not sure how good my code will be but at least it won't be boring.
